# config

## Purpose
Symfony application configuration: bundle registration, service wiring, routing entry points, and per-bundle YAML config.

## Key Files
| File | Description |
|------|-------------|
| `bundles.php` | Registered bundles per environment (Framework, Doctrine, Migrations, Twig, Security, Monolog, Stimulus, Turbo, KnpPaginator, Maker, Fixtures) |
| `services.yaml` | Service container: autowire/autoconfigure defaults, `App\` from `src/`; explicit config for `AppExtension` (Twig tag) and `PayPalService` (injects `PAYPAL_CLIENT_ID`/`SECRET`/`MODE` env vars) |
| `routes.yaml` | Loads controller routes via attribute resolver from `src/Controller/` |
| `preload.php` | OPcache preload file |

## Subdirectories
| Directory | Purpose |
|-----------|---------|
| `packages/` | Per-bundle configuration YAML (see `packages/AGENTS.md`) |
| `routes/` | Route config for framework/security/web_profiler (see `routes/AGENTS.md`) |

## For AI Agents

### Working In This Directory
- New services usually need no entry here (autowiring covers `src/`). Add explicit config only for constructor args that can't be autowired (see the `PayPalService` env-var example).
- Run `php bin/console cache:clear` after editing any config.
- To add a route, prefer `#[Route]` attributes on the controller — `routes.yaml` already scans `src/Controller/`.

### Common Patterns
- Env vars are referenced as `%env(NAME)%` and defined in `.env` (see root `AGENTS.md` re: committed secrets).

## Dependencies

### Internal
- Wires everything in `src/`.

### External
- Symfony DependencyInjection, all bundles listed in `bundles.php`.
